Bio
Skiing brought me to Colorado in 1973 as I was saving for college. Didn't earn enough to pay for college without a working my way through, so I kept teaching in between college class work, earning degrees in photography, recreation / outdoor education and graphic arts.
Skiing cotinued to remain my winter mainstay after school, just as my photo professor predicted it would. He saw the passion that Ihad for teaching and hard work that put in to be out on the snow every moment that I could.
Aspen has been my home ski town longer than anywhere else, but I worked in such places as, Sunlight Ski Area in Glenwood Springs, Co; Pugatory in Durango, CO and Winter Park / Mary Jane, CO. Then ther were those southern hemisphere -"can't get enough of winter" seasons in Mt. Buller, Victoria, Australia; client junkets to places like Las Lenas, Argentina and Portillo Chille.
I have been in other positions with ski schools and on comittees and boards, but I simply love and always will love teaching and skiing with a passion.
