Bio

I have been skiing all of my life, and started teaching when I turned 16.  I spent 4 summers training with the Canadian and US Freestyle Ski Teams back in the early 90's when freestyle only meant moguls.  I spent 2 summers teaching in Australia.  Finally I discovered Aspen, the most beautiful place on earth, and didn't need anymore endless winters.  I love the sport of skiing, and sharing my love with everyone.  I am also a trainer with the Ski Schools of Aspen, and I love the whole learning process, be it teaching someone or striving to improve my own skiing.

I am the mother of two children, my daughter is 4 and my son is 2, who continue to amaze me everyday.

Skills

Being able to share my love of skiing with others, and watching them fall in love with the sport is truly amazing! Whether it is learning to be able to make comfortable turns down the green runs, or learning how to ski Highland bowl with more finesse, I would love to show you how!! I enjoy finding out what motivates you, and how to use that to help you improve. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching skiing, is watching someone come back year after year, getting better and better, all the while having a blast and becoming a close friend.
