Skills
Started snowboarding in the early 1990's looking for a winter alternative to the cold water waves of South Coast New South Wales Australia. Iimmediately addicted I have ever since attempted to build my professional life around my lifestyle. My passions include surfing, snowboarding, alpine skiing, telemark and cross country skiing and mountain and road biking. I live full-time in Aspen CO with my Wife JoAnn and a father to 3 daughters Olivia, Leilani and Oleana. Whenever I get the chance I will be surfing the best waves around the world (which apart from my family is what I truly live for).
I have competed in National and International competitions in snowboard halfpipe, big air, boarder X and racing and have coached elite athletes in these disciplines. I have authored many teaching and training manuals for instructors as well as the book Snowboarding - The Fundamentals and Beyond. I am a Level 3 Instructor Trainer and examiner and have my Freestyle and Children's Certification. I am also a certified Coach. I currently teach snowboarding, skiing and telemark skiing.
