My skills are based on coaching kids and like minded adults. Being a member of the Children's Education Training Team for PSIA-RM, as well as, an Examiner I spend quite a bit of time training fellow instructors when I'm not coaching for the Aspen Valley Ski Club or skiing with kids and families.
Skiing off piste terrain is my passion. We have lots of that here in the valley and it is why Highlands is my base mountain. Each day has its own offerings. My favorite puzzle is finding the best snow and conditions on that given day. Trees, bumps, steeps or giant turns through open powder... If its good, thats where I'll be.
My favorite comment to hear from my peers is, "Where have you been all season?". That means I'm skiing in the right places.
