Growing up in New York City my family escaped to Aspen for fun and to visit family. I grew up learning to ski in the Aspen ski school. After attending Aspen High for a year and graduating from The Dalton School in New York I attended the University of Colorado where I started teaching skiing part time in Aspen and graduated with degrees in English and Elementary Education. I was also a competitive figure skater and started coaching at this time. I split time between teaching school, skiing and skating. After marrying my husband I decided to make teaching skiing my full time career. I now have two young children who are becoming quite the little mountain men, and I feel so lucky to live in such a beautiful place, be a part of such a special community and be able to share my passion for skiing and being in the mountains with people everyday.
