Ancient Ski Pro Writes Ski Book, Makes Ski DVD After 40 years of Teaching

Weems Westfeldt, from the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen/Snowmass, has put together a concept of training that offers a new dimension in brilliance for skiers and snowboarders. It's how to find your best stuff – every day.

Aspen, Colorado – The new book and DVD, packed with over 100 useful pointers are both called "Brilliant Skiing, Every Day". They are friendly, easy, and informal because, as Westfeldt states, "people who take themselves and skiing too seriously, often don't do very well at it!"

Westfeldt has been in the ski teaching world for more than 40 seasons. He has taught and managed in ski schools all over the nation and the world. In 1986, he settled here in Aspen as an instructor, manager, and trainer.

Furthermore, Westfeldt has been a member of the Alpine Team of the national instructor's organization - PSIA, and has been a frequent contributor to popular ski publications.

The book and DVD serve as an introduction to the Sports DiamondTM - a strategy for helping you find your best skiing every day. And there are over 100 useful pointers - ones that Weems and other pros use consistently and effectively with students.
